Westcliff Care Home

Westcliff is located in the charming and historical town of Felixstowe, Suffolk. The home is centrally located and within walking distance to the shops, post office, library, medical centre and other various recreational facilities and the cliff top.

The home aims to offer very high level of care facilities for the Elderly by enhancing their quality of life. We do this by providing an environment which is safe, comfortable, congenial, hygienic and stimulating for the residents, where their rights of privacy and choice are respected.

Working in partnership with the families of the residents, staff, government agencies and health authorities, we work towards achieving the goal of fulfilment for the residents in every aspect of their lives.

The home is registered for 33 residents and consists mostly of single rooms, most of which have en suite facilities.

St Joseph’s Residential Care Home

St Joseph’s Care Home was established in 1975, it was acquired by Hazelwood Care Ltd in 2003.The home is registered with the CQC for 19 service users.

The Home aims to offer person-centred care for the service users, thereby enhancing their quality of life. We provide our service users with a safe, homely, comfortable and congenial environment, ensuring that their dignity, choice and independence are always maintained.

The staffs at St Joseph are well trained and experienced in dealing with the core issues surrounding dementia. They are well equipped with skills to ensure that each resident’s individual needs and requirements are catered for.

St Joseph’s is very well located in Harrow, with Northwick Park Hospital a 15 minute drive. The shopping centres St George’s, St Anne’s and Tesco are within walking distance. The home is situated conveniently for transport; Harrow-on-the-Hill (Met Line) and Harrow Wealdstone (BR) stations are both quite near.

The home has two lounges and a dining room on the ground floor along with six bedrooms. The first floor houses the remaining bedrooms and can also be accessed via the stair lift which is fitted for the service users who find it difficult to walk up the stairs.

All rooms are equipped with washing facilities as well as toilets and bathrooms on each floor. The service users are encouraged to bring their own furniture of their choice and pictures, so that they feel more at home in their new surroundings.

Bywell House

Bywell House is located in the charming sea side town of Worthing, and is centrally located for shopping and other amenities. The home is set in a mature and well cared for garden, which becomes the venue for summer parties and barbecues.

The home aims to offer a very high level of Residential Care facilities for the Elderly through its Residential Care Homes, in the process enhancing the quality of life of its residents. We do this by providing an environment which is safe, comfortable, congenial, hygienic and stimulating for the residents.

The home is registered for 20 residents and consists of single rooms, some of which have en suite facilities. Each room is provided with a vanity unit/wash basin, television point, smoke detectors and nurse call system. Beds, furniture and linen are provided, although residents are encouraged to bring some of their own possessions to personalize their rooms. There is a five man hydraulically operated passenger lift capable of taking a wheel chair and an assistant.

Highly experienced staffs cater for all the needs of the residents and the home operates an open door policy for relatives and friends to visit residents between the hours of 10:00 -20:00 hrs. A program of afternoon activities is carried out in the home for the residents wishing and able to join in.

On the ground floor there are two comfortably furnished lounges, one which has music and television facilities and the other is a sitting room for residents who prefer the peace and quiet. The dining room adjoins a modern fully equipped kitchen to serve food and snacks. Food for the residents is carefully planned to meet their personal needs and menus are varied to make maximum use of fresh seasonal produce. Special dietary requirements are also catered for.
